Did I mention this about my local Home Depot?

They want a hunnert dollers for a five foot live Christmas tree. I do not believe they were a hundred dollars on Saturday. Only we didn't have time to swing by there on Saturday due to food shopping and laundry doing. There were no trees ANYWHERE on Sunday. All the lots up and down Hempstead were empty. Home Depot told us they expected more today, Monday. They did not tell us there were jacking up the price, though.

I did mention this, only I did it on FaceBook. I cannot navigate all the social networking gizmos. I barely have enough to say to the people I see with my eyes. FaceBook has also taught me that I'd be an awful sock puppet.

ETA:Can someone explain to me why FB wants me to RSVP Christmas at noon this Saturday? Will I be left out of Christmas if I don't reply? I'm imagining the phone call on the 26th. Oh, sorry Christmas. I was busy. I lost the response envelope. I'm a big douche for not RSVPing.

We almost always got our tree a week before Christmas. In Brooklyn, you just walk down the street a ways and pick up a tree.

Not in Brooklyn.

I regularly pay about a hunnert dollars for my Christmas tree. Also, I do not understand 99% of Facebook. Events like that are particularly bewildering.

That's INSANE. The 5-6' trees at my depot were 19.98 the entire season. WTF is wrong with those people that they think you want to hand over $100 for a tree?!
