The Queen of Sheeeba [userpic]
Fall has the best summer veggies.

Today's bounty:

September bounty

Those tomatoes are all either the plum tomatoes that I bought from Hick's or the volunteers growing amongst my potted herbs. The bib lettuce seeds I planted when I took up the garlic are still giving me lettuce, which is good. The other bowl is full of herbs for drying. Pineapple sage, rosemary, oregano, thyme and a small smattering of lavender buds.

My seeds starts?

The cherry tomatoes have been producing many tomatoes. Many useless teeny, tiny tomatoes. See?

The largest of those is not bigger than my thumbnail.

The beefsteaks will give me ripe 'maters before the frost comes, I'm sure. Look.

There are three other bunches like those. The first the plant has managed to grow all season long.

I did finally get some peppers. Two anchos and one bell that have already been eaten. There are two more anchos and bells on the plant, waiting for the right moment. The habaneros are suddenly full of fruit. Behold.

I am open to suggestions on what to do with the habaneros, especially hot sauce recipes.
