Dinner Report.

Because I have nothing else to talk about.

Week old frozen seafood doesn't stand up very well to boils cuz it don't taste so nice and fresh anymore. But there is no way I'm giving up on two halves of a dungeness crab and 7 lobster claws. So I made ginger scallion crustations with lots of ginger and garlic and scallions and soy sauce and sugar and cayenne pepper (because I don't have Thai chilies) and Japanese white wine seasoning.

Week old frozen shrimp suffers from the same problem. But if you cover them in Chinese Five Spice, a little egg and corn starch and have a deep fryer-- well then allavasudden, the shrimp taste pretty good again.

I would also like to add what a hero I am for not only standing over a deep fryer but a stir-fry wok too. At the same time. And it STILL hasn't really rained. Mercifully, the temps have fallen to the high 80's.
