The Queen of Sheeeba [userpic]
The first two don't count.

Three guesses as to what has been playing on the TV all day. And it's the totally terrible New Hope crap too.

My toilet is overflowing but in the best way possible. The whoosiewhatsit flushometer pumpity-bob's seal broke, so whenever we flush it squirts water while it takes in water which makes the tank overflow after a few 5 flushes. It's so much more nicer when your toilet gushes clean water. Aaaaaaany minute now Dany's popping over to Desperate to get a replacement pumpity-bob. I'm sure it'll be just as soon as all 6 Star Wars movies finish playing.

For brunch I made from-scratch pancakes that were pretty fluffy. Not Bisquick fluffy but not the usually flat things I make from scratch. Also made an apple compote (I think that's what it is. Apples, butter a sprinkling of brown sugar and spices in a frying pan until mushy), scrambled eggs with home-dried herbs and a light sprinkling of sharp cheddar and bacon. These peoples here better not ask me to make nothing else until tomorrow.

Dany bought these mini philo shells. I already had powdered sugar and apples. I had Justin pick up some ricotta. Whipped the ricotta with the powdered sugar and some vanilla, diced the apples fine and gave it the same treatment as above. Put the ricotta on the bottom, topped with the apples and put it in the oven for, like 5 minutes-- the shells are already baked. These were a giant hit.

I cut big chunks for the compote. You could add a sprinkle of raisins for the pork.
