This is why I should never, ever go to any kind of medical place whatsoever

I've never worn glasses but for the last year or so, I can't see to read. So an appointment was made with an optometrist. That's not a real doctor so I should have been safe. Ha! She told me I should see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. As she explained it, that blow test reading should be between 17 and 20. My left eye is 25 and my right 34.

Also, not only can I not see to read but I can't see in the distance as well as I thought either. I can't wait to get my glasses so that I can see. The difference between with and without the lenses is astounding. Let's hope I don't go blind in the meantime.

Ha! Welcome to old age?! Seriously, I discovered that I had cataracts back in February 2010; I still have one in the right eye (had surgery on the left one and that's all good). Now I just don't have any depth perception whatsoever nor peripheral vision! I guess it beats the alternative though! LOL

That blow test being for glaucoma?
